Dear Friends in Christ,

We have begun to call members of Trinity with our plan moving forward in light of COVID-19 and the state of Iowa's mandate on groups >10 people.

Sunday Services on March 22 and 29 will be on KLMJ only (aired at 10:15 AM on Sunday). Midweek Lenten Services on March 25 and April 1 will be on KLMJ only (aired at 7 PM on Wednesday). Encourage your neighbors to tune in and listen to the hopeful message of the Gospel. In a time like this, we need God's Word ringing in our ears. Thanks be to God for the radio!

We encourage you to follow along in our services to sing, pray, and read. There will be a small "congregation" in the service, you are welcome to speak and sing with them!

The communion of saints extends past quarantines and social distancing. The printed order of service will be available on Facebook before each service airs. It will also be available in print form in the church office.

Sunday School and Adult Bible Class are suspended until further notice. All other weekly meetings at Church are suspended until further notice.

Pastor is offering an opportunity to receive Holy Communion. This will be done in groups of less than 10 at Trinity and done with suggested precautions from the CDC (sanitation and social distancing). Please call the Church Office, Vicar, or Pastor if interested in scheduling a time with Pastor. We encourage our members to be mindful of their own health and of their neighbor's health in this matter.

Our expenses do not go away during this time, we encourage you to tithe as you are able, offering your first fruits to the Lord.  We encourage you to mail your offerings to the Church office.  This will help keep the office visits to a minimum.

Pastor and Vicar are willing to share a devotion, prayer, or just listen over the phone. Please do not hesitate to reach out to them in this time of anxiety and need.

The Church Office will be staffed from 9-3 Monday through Friday.

We will re-evaluate as the laws change, and especially as the monthly calendar flips to April. Facebook is the best way to stay up to date on matters at Trinity at this time.

The Lord be with you.

Give to Trinity

During this time of “social distancing,” Trinity Lutheran Church is offering its members the option of giving online. Our new on-line giving system allows you to contribute church offerings and special donations directly from your bank account or by using a credit or debit card. The purpose is to make it easy for members of our congregation to help fund the important work of our church.

If you select to make electronic payments to Trinity Lutheran Church, you will create an account using the web link below. After you login, you will select the frequency and size of your donation. You also select whether you want to make debit or credit card donations, or have your donation transferred from a bank account.

The good news is that the regular donation statements that you currently receive from church will include all forms of giving -- cash, checks, bank transfers, and debit/credit card giving.

If you would like to use this new service, please click on the link below.
